National Parks You Need To See In Person

There are around 62 national parks all around the U.S. With the incline of state to state traveling and just simply finding things to do outside, national state parks have increased in popularity.

Though the park contains the summits of two of the world’s most active volcanoes, both Kīlauea & Mauna Loa, it is still one of the most visited National Parks.

        Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park

Day Hiking with views of the volcanoes, backcountry hiking over the 123,000 acres, Crater Rim drive tour, and the Chain of Crater drive tour with views of the sea.

Located in Ohio, Cuyahoga Valley National Park is home to the most beautiful waterfalls, caves, nature trails and rock formations that the state has to offer.

A ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, Canoe and kayak on the Cuyahoga River, and also horseback riding.

There is a rainforest, fit for nature and wildlife lovers. A beach perfect for a quick swim during the summer months in Washington.

                Olympic National Park

Things to do include:
Check out the Hoh Rain Forest for some nature, go tide pooling at Kalaloch’s Beach, or ski at Hurricane Ridge.

This national park located in Utah is way off the beaten path but perfect for those who want a true hiking experience. 

                  Zion National Park

Most travelers go to Zion National Park to conquer “The Subway”, a 10+ mile hike through red stained rocks that can also be repealed off of.
